1. Information we collect

1.1 Data stored locally on your device

The following stays on your device and is never sent to us:

• Your tower progress, height records and daily-challenge streak
• Settings and preferences (sound, music, haptics, language)
• In-app purchase status (e.g. ad-free / premium)

1.2 Anonymous online features

Some features connect to our servers using a random, anonymous device identifier — not tied to your real identity:

• The shared Daily Challenge target shape (the same for everyone each day)
• The ambient skyline of other players' towers shown in the background

1.3 Advertising & analytics data

To keep the game free, Tower Town may show optional rewarded ads and use privacy-friendly analytics. These third-party SDKs may collect device identifiers (such as the IDFA), device model, OS version and general region derived from your IP address.

2. How we use information

• To save and restore your game progress on your device
• To run online features (daily challenge sync, the background skyline)
• To show and measure ads, and to validate in-app purchases
• To understand crashes and improve the game

3. Advertising & App Tracking Transparency

On first launch iOS may ask whether Tower Town can track you across other apps and websites (Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework).

If you allow tracking: ads may be personalized using your device identifier.

If you decline: you'll still see the same number of ads, but they'll be non-personalized (contextual).

You can change this anytime in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. Data is processed only by the service providers that power the features above (e.g. our ad and analytics partners, and Apple for purchases), each under their own privacy policy.

5. Children's privacy

Tower Town is suitable for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we'll remove it.

6. Your rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to opt out of personalized advertising. Because most data lives only on your device, deleting the app removes it. For anything held on our servers, email us and we'll help.

7. Data retention & security

Anonymous online data is kept only as long as needed to run the relevant feature. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
